PriFly Advisors provides strategic and practical advisory at the intersection of US and European defence capabilities — opening institutional doors, building relationships, and navigating complex international environments.
Ed Chandler is a retired U.S. Navy Commander and Naval Aviator with twenty-eight years of commissioned service. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy and TOPGUN, he accumulated nearly 3,000 flight hours and more than 500 carrier-arrested landings across four strike fighter aircraft.
His final tours included NATO staff duty at STRIKFORNATO and Executive Officer of Naval Support Activity Naples — two assignments that immersed him in allied operations, transatlantic defence relationships, and the institutional machinery that connects American and European security.
Now based in Portugal for six years, Ed works at the intersection of U.S. and European defence — navigating the relationships, institutions, and decision-making environments where transatlantic defence business actually happens. He founded PriFly Advisors to provide strategic and practical advisory across defence and leadership, grounded in the credibility that only comes from decades of operating in these environments.
Connecting defence and security capabilities across the Atlantic — whether U.S. technology entering European markets or European firms navigating American institutions. Market orientation, institutional introductions, and strategic positioning for companies operating in the transatlantic defence space.
